We welcome foodies, creatives, and dream chasers from all walks of life, all ages and nationalities wanting to adventure, learn, connect and meet amazing likeminded people. It is our belief, that there is no field that can't benefit from a working knowledge of creativity, storytelling, and photography. And even though the title of our retreat enterprise is 'Sisterhood Retreats, it doesn't mean that the workshops and retreats are not open to men. WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO BRING?

If you are attending a photography workshop or retreat, you will need to bring your camera - whatever you normally shoot food with is fine. Some guests come with their iPhone, others with point & shoots, and the majority with DSLRs. It's important that you have a beginning knowledge of how to use your camera. If you have a serious interest in photography, we highly recommend that you come with a DSLR equipped with a fast lens. Bring also your laptop.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WORKSHOP, AND A RETREAT?

WORKSHOPS are usually 1-3 day learning events in major cities during which Sif teaches creative business development, photography, cookbook creation, styling, healthy cooking, photo editing, and/or social media. Apart from lots of hands-on-training classes and in-depths lessons, workshops also include delicious meals, excursions, and amazing network opportunities. Accommodation is not provided during workshops nor are any meals other than those during class hours.

RETREATS are special, all-inclusive, travel and learning events where you experience the best of two worlds – learning and rejuvenation. It’s the perfect blend between reflecting and recharging, and learning and enhancing your skills sets as well. They tend to take place at a quiet or secluded place in the world – an antique home in the rolling hills with a secret waterfall nearby, a beach house on a beautiful coast or a cabin in the woods with stellar views –where a group of creatives come together for 4-6 days to get out of their daily life routines, revitalize, recharge, and immerse themselves in photography, writing, storytelling, styling, cooking, mindfulness and creative business development. The group stay together at the retreat location, which creates the vibe of a tribe.

DO YOU ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS OR OFFER REFUNDS IN ANY EVENT?

Unfortunately due to the involved logistics & upfront costs of the workshops and retreats we have a strict no refund and no cancellation policy regardless of circumstance. The trip price is a package cost and refunds are not available for services not used. If you need to cancel we will do whatever is in our power to help you find a replacement traveler for your spot. If we succeed, your deposit will be kept in full in a Sisterhood Retreats holding account as a credit to use for another workshop or retreat less an administration charge of 500 and less any fees that were incurred to make the transaction.
