WHAT
Travel-based workshops, learning retreats and, and 1-on-1-mentoring programs for those who wish to take their storytelling, photography, cooking, food styling, personal leadership, creative business development, or writing to the next level. In Sisterhood Retreats you enter a community of supportive, encouraging, and open-minded women who genuinely want to contribute to your growth and success. At Sisterhood Retreats we spend a lot of time thinking about the ideal path our guest needs to take to go from thinking about bringing their ideas to life to actually doing it - and succeeding at it.
WHEN
Sisterhood Retreats was founded in 2017 by publisher, educator, award-winning author, and photographer Sif Orellana based on a vision of creating an empowering, motivating, and inspiring learning environment, where fierce learners, adventurous travelers, and creative souls from all over the world could meet up with a nurturing circle of like-minded entrepreneurs, dreamers, and achievers.
WHERE
So far we have hosted and conducted workshops, retreats, and one-on-one-mentoring sessions in Rome, Mallorca, Tuscany, Paris, Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Gothenburg, and we hope, in the near future, to launch new power-packed retreats in Bali, Amsterdam, Southern France, Iceland, and Copenhagen.
WHO
Sisterhood Retreats is for people of all ages, all nationalities, and all walks of life. Our workshops and retreats are open for creatives with different levels of experience, who dream about embarking on a magnificent adventure, gathering around a long, wooden table with kindred spirits from all over the world to share a delicious meal and exchange thoughts, ideas, and dreams about photography, creativity, beauty, entrepreneurship, and storytelling. And yes, we do call ourselves Sisterhood Retreats! Why? Simply because mostly women tend to feel attracted to this kind of travel-based workshops. That said, men are of course welcome - as long as they are prepared to be amongst a group of super creative, wise, and supportive 'sisters'.
WHY
Because we all need a place we can recharge our batteries, let ourselves be fueled with new inspiration, and have our skill sets enhanced. A place where we can meet new people from all corners of the world, with whom we share a profound passion for food, beauty, creativity, entrepreneurship, and for dreaming ideas into existence. And while we do all that, we all appreciate indulging in delicious local meals and discovering corners and nooks of the world, we haven't seen before.
