Do you want to step-up your styling skills, and compose professional-level images with WOW-factor? Do you want to know everything about layering, triangles, repetition, rules of third, use of props, how to create dynamic tension, energy and movement, how to arrange the food, discover the power of color balance, tell plated stories and find your own signature style? Then this masterclass is for you!

In 'Style Food Like a Pro' I share all my foolproof styling principles, high-level compositional techniques, rules and tools, that, in combination with my experienced and skills as a recipe developer and photographer, led me to win six International cookbook awards. The most challenging part about food-styling and composition techniques is knowing which tools to use. There are so many. In this masterclass she shares all her proven 'go-to' tools and rules,  you can use to create your unique trademark look. 

PROGRAM
Join me for this one day masterclass at my light-filled home and studio in Aarhus, Denmark. We start at 10 AM in the morning with a good cup of coffee/tea/freshly squeezed juice and fresh-baked goods + an introduction to each other and the program of the day. I'll bring you through the first classes of the day. Halfway we'll enjoy a delicious lunch and then continue with the classes. We round up at 4 PM.

ACCOMMODATION

This masterclass doesn't include accommodation. However, I can warmly recommend Villa Provence Hotel, Hotel Guldsmeden or Hotel Ferdinand, all small boutique hotels in center of the Latin area of Aarhus with great shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep and the waterfront just a few minutes’ walk away All three hotels are located not more than 10 minutes drive from the masterclass-location. The cost for a 1 nights stay is approximately €175-200 (breakfast included). You pay the hotel directly on the day of your departure. 

If you need transportation back and forth from the hotel to the masterclass I will be happy to help you book a taxi. Bikes can also be rented in the center of the city - remember, we are a cycling nation.

AARHUS & NEAREST AIRPORT

Aarhus is, with its population of 330.000 people, the second largest city of Denmark, and the city chosen as Cultural Capital of Europe and European Region of Gastronomy in 2017. Lonely Planet ranked Aarhus number two in its list of the ten best destinations in Europe in 2016due to its “cool-cat neighbourhoods, head-turning architecture and culinary wizardry.”

Aarhus is located only 3 hours direct train journey from Copenhagen Central Station, and the closest airport is Aarhus Airport or Billund airport. If you fly to Copenhagen airport, there is a direct train from the airport to Aarhus Central Station (the train ride is beautiful and takes about 3 1/2 hours).
