DESCRIPTION
Do you dream of capturing stunning, well-composed food photos every time you press the shutter? Want to learn how to tell compelling visual stories through food and ambiance?

This masterclass is designed to give you the skills and confidence to create evocative food photography and captivating food and lifestyle stories. High-quality food photography can be challenging, but I’m here to share my best tips and insider knowledge with you. During our time together, I’ll teach you about light, composition, props, backgrounds, trends, and camera techniques. You’ll gain all the tools you need to elevate your visual storytelling and make the transition from amateur to professional photographer.

My goal is to inspire you to develop your own visual signature and personal style. I can’t wait to get started.


PROGRAM
The masterclass takes place in my light-filled home and studio in Aarhus, Denmark. We’ll start at 10 AM with a warm welcome—coffee, tea, freshly squeezed juice, and home-baked goods—followed by introductions and an overview of the day’s program. I’ll guide you through the first lessons of the day, focusing on essential techniques and creative approaches.

Midway through, we’ll break for a delicious lunch before diving back into the afternoon sessions. We’ll wrap up around 4 PM, leaving you inspired and equipped to take your photography to the next level.

€697 (price per person) 

Included: Classes + coffee/tea/ refreshments and fresh-baked Danish pastries + a delicious lunch + notebook and pen + the use of materials and props.
Excluded: Airfare and/or transportation to & from the masterclass, dinner, and accommodation.

ACCOMMODATION

This masterclass doesn't include accommodation. However, I can warmly recommend Villa Provence Hotel, Hotel Guldsmeden or Hotel Ferdinand, all small boutique hotels in center of the Latin area of Aarhus with great shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep and the waterfront just a few minutes’ walk away All three hotels are located not more than 10 minutes drive from the masterclass-location. The cost for a 1 nights stay is approximately €200 (breakfast included). You pay the hotel directly on the day of your departure. 

If you need transportation back and forth from the hotel to the masterclass I will be happy to help you book a taxi. Bikes can also be rented in the center of the city - remember, we are a cycling nation.

AARHUS & NEAREST AIRPORT

Aarhus is, with its population of 330.000 people, the second largest city of Denmark, and the city chosen as Cultural Capital of Europe and European Region of Gastronomy in 2017. Lonely Planet ranked Aarhus number two in its list of the ten best destinations in Europe in 2016 due to its “cool-cat neighbourhoods, head-turning architecture and culinary wizardry.”

Aarhus is located only 3 hours direct train journey from Copenhagen Central Station, and the closest airport is Aarhus Airport or Billund airport. If you fly to Copenhagen airport, there is a direct train from the airport to Aarhus Central Station (the train ride is beautiful and takes about 3 1/2 hours).
